CROSSVILLE — CCHS freshman Cade Smith (24) dribbles past a Cookeville Cavalier during the Jets’ 89-71 victory Friday night. Smith finished the game with eight points, two rebounds and two assists to help the Jets improve their record to 10-9 and 1-0 in District 6AAA. The Jets and Lady Jets (5-12, 0-1) hosted Clarkrange Tuesday night and will travel to Coffee County Friday night for a District 6AAA game. CCHS alumni baseball game set Sept. 20
CCHS baseball is pleased to announce that the annual alumni game will be Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. at Jet Park. This has become an annual tradition for the program to welcome back its alumni for a weekend of festivities and allow them the opportunity to lace up the spikes another time to represent the Jets.

Local students qualify for world’s largest rodeo
Levi Wilson, an 11th grade student at Daniel 1 Academy, and Dalton Schubert, a ninth grade student at Home Life Academy, will represent Tennessee on the National High School rodeo team and travel will fellow teammates to Rock Springs, WY, July 13-19 to compete at the 66th annual National High School Finals Rodeo (NHSFR) in the team roping competition.
