Junior varsity basketball action resumes Thursday
The Cumberland County elementary junior varsity basketball league will resume play on Thursday, Oct. 29, after taking taking three days for the fall break, while the varsity teams continue practice for their regular season opener on Tuesday, Nov. 10.
The varsity feeder schools for CCHS will participate in the "Meet the Jets" activities on Saturday, Nov. 7, while those teams zoned to SMHS, will be involved in the "Panther Preview" on Friday, Nov. 6. More details will be announced later.

North 39, Allardt 32: Justin Simmons tallied 16 points to lead the Patriots over Allardt in varsity action.
Jeffers led Allardt with 20 points.
