The 15U Jets baseball team finished second in the Lenoir City Summer Bash, June 5-7. They finished with a 3-2 record, losing to North Georgia 12-2 in the championship game.
They opened the tournament with a 4-2 win over the Blount County Blaze, as Cole Van Horn picked up the win with a complete game effort. He struck out nine over five innings. Tayler Houston, David Stallworth, Aaron Jones and Dylan Fehr all had hits for the Jets.
On June 6, they defeated Lenoir City 12-4, as Stephen Woodlief was the winning pitcher. Zac Kerley, Dylan Fehr, Dakota Pugh, Woodlief and T.J. Watson all had hits for the Jets. They were shut out 10-0 by the North Georgia Generals also on that day.
In the semi-final game on June 7, Stephen Woodlief was the winning pitcher. Donovan O'Rourke, Tayler Houston and Dylan Fehr had hits for the Jets, while Zac Kerley provided the game winning hit in the bottom of the fifth inning, driving in Donovan O'Rourke with the winning run.
