Stone Memorial High School assistant basketball coach Radhika Miller has been hired as the new girls basketball coach at Gallatin High School, according to the Nashville Tennessean Thursday morning.
She has been Tim Smith's assistant coach at Stone Memorial High School for the past two seasons, helping the Lady Panthers to straight appearances in the Class AA State Tournament.
"Radhika brings excitement and dedication to this program. She has been successful where she has been and is a great addition to the program," said Smith, prior to the start of the 2007-'08 basketball season.
She is a graduate of the University of North Alabama, and coached two years at Pleasant Hill Elementary School and one year at South Cumberland Elementary School.
She has six years coaching experience on the AAU level.
Radhika and her husband, Andrew, have two children, Tryston and Sofiah. She was a member of the 1995 Class A state championship team at Clarkrange High School.
