Cumberland County UT Alumni hosts spring event

— The Cumberland County UT Alumni Association will host its spring event, "Cumberland's Pride — Locals become UT Success Stories" May 15 at 5:30 p.m. at Deer Creek Golf Club. All UT alumni and friends of UT are invited to hear three speakers.
Glenn Thackston, director of operations/assistant general manager for the Vol Network, exclusive producer and marketer of UT sports programing; Tom Looney Jr., development director for the Institute for Public Service, the University of Tennessee; and Dr. Robert Freeland, UT professor, Biosystems Engineering & Soil Science Department, The University of Tennessee Institute of Agriculture, will speak.
Reservations are required by May 8. Cost is $20 per person and the meal is catered by Wildwood Caterers. Contact Julie Wyatt at 484-5979 for reservations or more information.
