CROSSVILLE — Norma Phipps, with the Cumberland County service unit of the Salvation Army, and Cumberland County Fire Chief/EMS Director Jeff Dodson were out last week ringing bells as part of the annual Red Kettle Campaign. Volunteers will be outside local retail locations Friday and Saturday of this week and every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday until Christmas collecting funds to support Salvation Army programs that assist neglected, abused and endangered children in Cumberland County. The Kettle Campaign will also be held Christmas Eve. Look for volunteers at Walmart, Kmart, Big Lots, Kroger, Walgreens and Fairfield Glade Food City.
