Multiple store thefts lead to indictments

CROSSVILLE — A Crossville woman has been indicted by the Cumberland County Grand Jury on multiple counts of theft from area businesses and was among more than two dozen persons whose charges were acted upon by that panel.

Patricia Lynn Doyle received five separate indictments. An indictment is not a finding of guilty but a legal action that forwards charges against a person to trial or to settlement.

Doyle faces the following charges:

•selling jewelry belonging to Barbara Lynn Carter for $190 to a local pawn shop on Nov. 7, 2012;

•with stealing 12 boxes of ammunition from Dunham's Sports on Feb. 16, 2013;

•with stealing a shopping cart full of groceries from Walmart on Feb. 27, 2013;

•with stealing 12 boxes of ammunition from Dunham's Sports on May 22, 2013; and,

•with stealing 8 boxes of ammunition from Dunham's Sports on May 22, 2013.

Doyle and the defendants listed below are scheduled to appear in Criminal Court for arraignment on Nov. 12.

In other cases, the grand jury handed down the following indictments:

Burglary/theft

•Scottie Eugene Lenz, aggravated burglary, theft of less than $500 and aggravated assault.

•Timmy Lee Roberts, auto burglary and theft of less than $500.

•Donnie Lynn Rector, theft of less than $500 and two counts of attempted fraudulent use of a debit card.

•Kelly Scott Hood, aggravated burglary and assault.

•Kaycee Irene Farr, theft of less than $500.

Child neglect

•Brittany Rasheal Berry, child neglect (under eight years old).

Assault

•Lloyd Reginald Davis, assault.

•Shirley Jean Kirby, assault.

Methamphetamine

•Kozzi Christopher Cole, possession of more than .5 grams of meth for sale, possession of more than .5 grams of meth for delivery and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Ricky Edward Henry, simple possession of meth.

•Keith Jared Flynn, simple possession of meth, simple possession of marijuana, resisting arrest and carrying a weapon for the purpose of going armed.

•Adam Brian Smith, initiation of the process to manufacture meth, simple possession of a schedule II drug, simple possession of a schedule VI drug and possession of drug paraphernalia. Also, initiation of the process to manufacture meth and criminal impersonation. Also, promotion of the manufacture of meth. Also, initiation of the process to manufacture meth.

•Robert Eric Dille, attempted sale of less than .5 grams of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Possession

•Steven Ray England, possession of more than one-half ounce of marijuana for sale.

•Sierra Dawn Brewer, simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

•Sammy Dale Roberts, simple possession of marijuana.

Driving offenses

•Frankie Wayne Smith, third offense driving under the influence and driving on a revoked license.

•Kathie Dianne Jackson, fourth offense driving under the influence.

•Garry Wendell Godsey, driving under the influence. Also, second count of driving under the influence and refusing to take an intoximeter test. Also, third count of driving under the influence.

•Timothy Dale Moore, evading arrest and driving on a suspended license.

•Joshua Ray Robbins, evading arrest and third offense driving on a revoked license.

Miscellaneous charges

•Kelly Scott Hood, criminal trespass.
