Alexander honored for service

Staff writer

CROSSVILLE — Members of the community gathered last week to bid farewell to Beth Alexander, president and CEO of the Crossville-Cumberland County Chamber of Commerce, who retired after more than 30 years of community service. Brad Fox, chairman of the Chamber, said, "She has given her heart, body and soul to the Chamber and to the community. We're sad to be losing her, but we know her presence and her legacy will continue." Fox and Janice Hamby presented a framed portrait of Alexander that will hang on the Chamber's "Wall of Fame" of former Chamber presidents.
