CROSSVILLE — Kayla Caron, a senior at Stone Memorial High School, was the winner of a $21,000 list priced 2013 Chevrolet Sonic Thursday morning from Dave Kirk Automotive. The car was one of many choices available to Caron. Dave Kirk presented the keys to the car to Caron. She was one of several finalists from both Stone Memorial and Cumberland County High School who were in the drawing for the 'Key to Success' attendance program. The program, in its tenth year, rewards students for their attendance in high school. Stone Memorial High School, Phoenix School and Cumberland County High School students came together Thursday morning at CCHS for the final drawing and award. One student, Kate Zecher, won a laptop computer. Other finalists were rewarded with gift cards for $50 or $100. Caron was so excited she cried several times after winning the new vehicle. Caron said she really appreciated Dave Kirk doing this for everyone and couldn't believe she was the winner. Dave Kirk said he continues the program in order to boost attendance in the high schools. Shortly after the giveaway, Kirk said he felt like he was on top of the world!
