A Cumberland County man was arrested on a warrant signed by a sheriff's department deputy on charges he fraudulently made purchases with a stolen credit card.
Jesse Leroy Harnden, 29, 796 Sawmill Rd., is charged with one count of fraudulent use of a debit/credit card. He was arrested Sunday at an Oakley Dr. residence, according to Deputy Chuck Hennessee's report.
On that same day, the victim reported her credit card had been stolen and two unauthorized purchases — one for $405.73 at Wal-Mart and the second for $98.68 at Sawmill Market — had been made.
Those purchases, according to records at the two stores, were made between 9:47 a.m. and 10:50 a.m. on April 16.
Bond was set at $1,500 and Harnden is to appear in General Sessions Court on May 5.
