Certifying early voting machines

CROSSVILLE — The Cumberland County Election Commission met last Thursday in order to certify eight voting machines for early voting for the May 6 County Primary Election. Lisa Phillips, left, Democrat representative; Linda Baehr-Caldwell, Republican representative; and Everett Bolin, machine technician consultant, work on certifying the machines. Voting machine technicians Jason Rockwell and Josh Hesser were also at the meeting. Early voting begins Wednesday, April 16 and continues through May 1 at the Cumberland County Election Commission office at 2 S. Main St. in the Milo Lemert Building across the street from the Cumberland County Courthouse. For more information about early voting, call the Election Commission office at 484-4919.
