A mom may have wanted to provide her son with a memorable birthday party, but she didn't hang around long enough to pay the tab. The owner of a local business is looking for the mom who skipped out without paying the bill, Crossville Police reported.
Officers were contacted by George Young, owner of Woodmere Skating Rink, Wednesday after a woman skipped out on a $90 tab.
The woman had hosted a birthday party for her son on Feb. 17, leaving a name and phone number. However, the woman left without paying the bill, and police and the owner have been unable to locate the suspect. It is not known if the name the woman provided is correct or fictitious.
