City's Christmas parade steps off at 4:30 p.m. Saturday

CROSSVILLE — The city of Crossville's annual Christmas parade will be held Saturday at 4:30 p.m.

Former mayor and city councilman Earl Dean will serve as grand marshal of the "Christmas Dreams" parade, which will begin at Cumberland County High School and Martin Elementary. The parade will travel down Stanley St. to Main St. and conclude at Miller Ave. at Woodmere Mall.

The parade will be filmed by VolFirst for broadcast on its community channel, and Brian Spieles and Tony Perry will serve as masters of ceremonies.

Cumberland Medical Center, in conjunction with Flowers Bakery, will be providing complimentary snacks, coffee and hot chocolate at the Cumberland County Courthouse lawn beginning at 3 p.m.
