Aggravated child abuse charge among indictments returned this week

CROSSVILLE — A Crossville area man was arrested Tuesday morning after the Cumberland County Grand Jury returned an indictment charging aggravated child abuse against him.

Kelly William Demoe, 43, 106 Oak Crest Dr., was arrested at another residence on Oak Crerst Dr. by Cumberland County Sheriff's Investigator John Haynes without incident around 11:30 a.m., according to an arrest report.

Not much is known about the case since an incident report was not released to the media when the incident was alleged to have happened.

The indictment simply states that Demoe "unlawfully, knowingly and other than by accidental means, inflict serious bodily injury ..." The age of the victim was 11 months old at the time.

Bond was set at $250,000 and arraignment will be held in Cumberland County Criminal Court today during which Demoe will inform the court as to whether he has an attorney or will need one appointed for him.

•Timothy Wayne Price and Jesse James Simpson, burglary, theft more than $500 and vandalism less than $500.

•Joshua Aaron Taylor, auto burglary.

•Timothy Richard Forster, theft more than $1,000.

•Johnny Wayne Thornton Jr., aggravated burglary and aggravated assault with a weapon.

•Cody Michael Vance, theft more than $1,000.

•Alex Christopher Garrison, auto burglary and theft less than $500.

Drugs

•Edward Ray Johnson, Randy Richard Bilbrey, Donna Lynn Schubert, Joshua Lloyd Mills and Christopher Bryan Turner, manufacture of more than .5 gram of methamphetamine, enhanced by violation of the state drug-free school zone act. This is a superseding indictment.

•Adam Clint Campbell and Jeffery Lee Cravens, possession of methamphetamine for sale and possession of methamphetamine for delivery.

•Brandon Allen Close and Joshua Shane Humphrey, possession of more than .5 gram of methamphetamine for sale and possession of more than .5 gram for delivery.

•Richard Scott Moore, possession of cocaine for sale and possession of cocaine for delivery.

•Gregory A. Reppert, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine, theft more than $500 and vandalism less than $500.

•Gregory A. Reppert, promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine.

•Paul Jonathan Wing, promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine, simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of theft less than $500.

•Paul Jonathan Wing, promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine and simple possession of Alprazolam.

•Calvin Glenn Edmonds, promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine.

•Gregory Thomas Horn and Christie Sue Horn, possession of more than .5 gram of methamphetamine for sale, possession of more than .5 gram of methamphetamine for delivery, possession of more than one-half ounce of marijuana for delivery, promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine, three counts of child neglect over the age of eight and one count of child neglect under the age of eight.

•Gregory Thomas Horn, initiation of the process to manufacture methamphetamine, tampering with evidence and resisting arrest.

•Christie Sue Horn, simple possession of Adderall and driving on a revoked license.

•Denny Ray Garrison, promotion of the manufacture of methamphetamine, tampering with evidence, simple possession of marijuana, simple possession of a schedule II drug and unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon.

•Rogert Dale Floyd and Paul Jonathan Wing, possession of methamphetamine for resale and possession of methamphetamine for delivery.

Assault

•James Daniel Leeds, domestic assault.

•Michael Jack Carlson, vehicular assault.

•David Earl Flatt, domestic assault.

•Deborah Ruth Dodson and Jesse Thomas Clark, aggravated assault with a weapon (automobile).

•Christopher William Kutil, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon resulting in bodily injury, and an alternate count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon causing serious bodily injury.

Driving under the influence

•Timothy Wayne Neely, driving under the influence, per se.

•Ronnie Lynn Hamby, fifth offense diving under the influence, seventh offense driving on a revoked license and refusing to take an intoximeter test.

•Paul Abdullah Bey III, third offense driving under the influence.

•Roger Joe Norris, driving under the influence, assault on an officer, resisting arrest and driving on a suspended license.

Miscellaneous charges

•Michael Brandon Crabtree, criminal simulation.

•Daryl Bradley Vaughn, criminal simulation.
