Man charged with photographing teen

CROSSVILLE — A Crossville man has been arrested on a warrant charging he photographed a teenage girl while she was in the privacy of a bathroom, according to an arrest report and affidavit on a warrant.

Thomas Wayne Marsh, 31, 88 Savannah Lane, is charged with a single count of unlawful photographing in violation of privacy laws, according to Deputy Chuck Hennessee’s arrest report. He was taken into custody on Jan. 24.

The alleged incident did not take place at that address or in a public setting.

The arrest warrant states that while living in Lake Tansi on or about Jan. 1, 2008, Marsh allegedly hid a camera in a bathroom and photographed a teen as she undressed and showered, according to Sheriff’s Investigator John Haynes’ report.

Bond was set at $2,000 and a hearing in Cumberland County General Sessions Court on Feb. 10.
