Head Start centers to host open houses in the county

— The LBJ&C Head Start Centers in Cumberland County have announced open houses to be held at the four local facilities. Open house gives the children and their teachers a chance to show off arts and crafts and the classrooms. It also gives moms and dads an opportunity to visit, ask questions and learn more about the pre-school program.
Open houses are scheduled as follows:
•Home Away from Home Pinewood Head Start Center at 115 Pinewood Dr. in Crossville, Oct. 2 from 1-4 p.m.
•Home Away from Home Head Start at 18 Obed St., Crossville, Oct. 2 from 1-4 p.m.
•Crossville Head Start at 1831 E. First St., Crossville, Oct. 8 from 1-4 p.m.
•Crab Orchard Head Start at 340 Hebbertsburg Rd. in Crab Orchard, Oct, 17 from 1-4 p.m.
