OFFENSES
City Police
Burglary — Thompson Lane, Sept. 16/someone entered a residence and stole a CD changer, Dremel tool set, CB radio, flashlight and oil lamp with loss placed at $320. Two men were observed running from the scene and suspects have been identified.
•Genesis Rd., Sept. 18/someone entered a vehicle and stole a wallet and credit cards.
•Chuckles on Parkway Dr., Sept. 19/someone broke door glass to the business and ransacked the building, stealing $450 in cash and keys to the game machines. Damage to a door was placed at $1,000.
•Mom's Tackle Box on Hwy. 70 E, Sept. 19/someone attempted to break into the business by trying to pry open a door. An alarm was activated and entry was not gained.
Theft — Stone Memorial High School, Sept. 17/someone stole $100 from a change purse belonging to a student. The purse was recovered in a trash can in the boys' restroom.

Burglary — Hestel Price Lane, Sept. 17/someone broke open a rear door to the residence, causing $800 in damage, but nothing was reported missing at the time of the report.
•Geronimo Lane, Sept. 17/someone entered the residence by prying open the front door and stole a shotgun, two rifles, pistol, knives, shotgun shells and a gun case with loss placed at $2,900.
•Joe Tabor Rd., Sept. 18/someone broke into the residence through a rear door and stole a 150-knife collection, jewelry and jewelry box, silver coins and other items with loss placed at over $11,150.
•Pine Breeze Dr., Sept. 19/someone kicked open the front door to the residence, vandalized the house and stole a rifle, safe, PlayStation II, personal identification and baseball cards with loss placed at over $1,000.
Theft — Newton Lane, County Landfill Rd. and Buck Ridge Rd., Sept. 18/someone stole three security cameras belonging to Timberlands Investment Resources with loss placed at $900.
•Moonbeam Trail, Sept. 18/someone stole a license plate from a vehicle.
•Rocky Top Market in Westel, Sept. 18/someone left without paying for $106.31 worth of diesel fuel.
