September 11, 2008 03:56 pm

Lane closure information is provided to the Tennessee Department of Transportation by the contractors. Should unforeseen circumstances or weather prevent any of this work from being performed, it will be rescheduled to take place as soon as possible.
• SR-101 (Peavine Road) bridge and approaches over I-40 (mm 322) — Work continues on this project. The median of I-40 both eastbound and westbound will be closed with portable barrier rail for the duration of the project. The outside shoulder will be closed with portable barrier rail to allow removal of the existing bridge and the closure will remain in place for the duration of the project. A portion of the turn lane on SR-101 (east bound I-40 on ramp) is now closed with portable barrier rail for the duration of the project. For phase two of this project, Peavine Road will be reduced to two lanes (one in each direction) with portable barrier rail and attenuators to construct the southbound lanes. At least one lane will be maintained in each direction for northbound and southbound traffic. In addition, intermittent lane stoppages may occur on Peavine Road due to work within close proximity to the roadway. The westbound lane on-ramp (to Nashville) will be closed requiring motorists to use the temporary on-ramp. The existing Enterprise Drive south of Hardees will be closed with the opening of new Enterprise Drive between Hardees and the Exxon Station on Peavine Road. Motorists should use caution and be alert to changing traffic conditions. Estimated completion date is May 2009. (Highways, Inc./DB).
