Fire damage totals $75,000

— Cumberland County firefighters responded to a house fire at 2334 Highland Lane Thursday afternoon. The home belonging to David Rosser was about half destroyed according to Captain Jeremy Newcome of the Cumberland County Fire Department. The fire started in the bedroom area of the home and was electrical in nature, Newcome said. He estimated structural damages to be around $75,000. After their arrival on the scene, the fire was extinguished within an hour. Nobody was home during the blaze.
