Two Roane County men and a Roane County woman have been charged in connection with the burglary of a Westel area residence that was reported to authorities Wednesday, according to police records.
Andrew David White, 24, 816 Zumstein Rd., Rockwood, Jeffery Allen Mathieu, 29, 109 Oak Lane, Kingston, and Kristy Lee Reno, 30, 929 Bayless St., Rockwood, are all charged with burglary and were placed under $2,000 bond each. All three are to appear in Cumberland County General Sessions Court on June 23.
Wednesday, deputies were dispatched to the Susan Farmer residence on Schillinger Rd. on a report of some people acting suspicious around the residence, according to Deputy Avery Aytes' report. Aytes and Deputy Roy Phipps arrived at the residence to find a white 1985 Chevrolet S-10 pickup parked at the residence and were in time to see a man walk from the residence.
The man was questioned and told deputies he had permission to be at the residence. A second man was found exiting a rear room. A woman was also found inside the house.
Aytes contacted Farmer, who was out of town at the time, and was told that not only did she not give anyone permission to enter her home, but that she did not know the trio who were on her property.
All three were then arrested and taken to the Justice Center where they were held in lieu of bond.
