City offers reward for Holiday Hills crime wave

— The city of Crossville is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a recent crime wave along Holiday Dr. that took place between June 5 and June 8.
The reward was announced through Crossville Police Major Terry White who also heads up the CrimeStoppers program sponsored by the city.
Stipulations that were issued with the announcement of the reward include barring law enforcement officers from collecting the reward.
Anyone with information about the recent acts of destruction and vandalism is asked to call the Crossville Police Department at 484-6144.
The reward reads as follows:
"A reward of $1,000 will be paid by the city of Crossville to any person except a person charged with the power, duty and responsibility of enforcing criminal laws, who furnishes necessary information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the destruction of, and damage and vandalism to, mailboxes located along Holiday Dr. between the dates of June 5-8, 2009, inclusive, and for information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the person or persons responsible for committing any offense or offenses under state or federal law arising out of the above mentioned damage and vandalism.
"The information furnished must be such that, without its divulgence, the perpetrator or perpetrators would not be ascertainable from other sources. If more than one person is entitled to this reward, the applicable court shall direct the division of the reward among those entitled. If claims by more than one person are made for this reward, the city of Crossville shall be discharged from all liability upon payment of the amount stated into a court of competent jurisdiction, which shall finally determine such claims.
"This reward is strictly limited to an offense or offenses affecting persons or property located within the city limits of the city of Crossville."
