Investigators with the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department are reviewing a case in which 14 recreational vehicles were broken into and had televisions stolen out of them this past weekend.
Brian Spieles of Tennessee Outdoors and RV Center on TN Outdoor Ave. reported May 3 that a salesman at the facility told him several RVs and campers had damages and were broken into. He reported 14 RVs and campers were broken into and numerous items were taken.
After inspecting the RVs and campers, Spieles reported that at least 14 TVs were stolen. One trailer was also stolen. The trailer was later recovered after being parked at Roane State Community College.
Damages and items missing were listed at a loss of an estimated $60,000. The investigation into the case is continuing and has been turned over to Cumberland County Sheriff's Investigator Bo Kollros.
