The Cumberland County Vietnam Veterans Organization conducted an auction Feb. 24 at the VFW Post 5025 on S. Main St., and reported raising more than $4,000.
The event was held to raise money for the upcoming March 29-30 Welcome Home celebration in Crossville, which will feature a downtown parade and entertainment at the Community Complex.
Organizers of the auction wish to thank the following businesses who contributed prizes
for the event. A Veterans spokesman stated that "the success of our auction was a direct result of the generosity and cooperation of all the local merchants and individuals who participated."
