An anonymous call to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Department led deputies to a clandestine methamphetamine lab in Crab Orchard on March 6, resulting in the arrest of two men, according to reports.
Charged with the promotion of the manufacture of meth is Johnathan Kendrick Craven, 22, 48 Ann St., and Kenneth Leslie Sherrill, 34, 7854 Smith Mountain Rd. Both were released under $7,500 bond and were to appear in General Sessions Court this week.

As the deputies entered the home, two females fled out the rear door but were apprehended. A man exited the front door during the commotion but was apprehended in a vehicle parked in front of the residence next door. All persons were returned to the house and after questioning, the two men were charged.
