Elizabeth Sue (Jones) Murrah, 73, of Crossville, passed away Sept. 7, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Sept. 11 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. David Rowan officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
Mrs. Murrah was born Oct. 16, 1934, in Nashville, the daughter of Lawson and Bessie (Ford) Jones.
She was retired from the city of Nashville and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Murrah of Crossville; son, James Murrah of Crossville; granddaughters, Dona Howard of Goodlettsville, Meagan Callaway and Jamie Renea Murrah of Hendersonville; great-grandson, Keaton Riley Howard of Goodlettsville; and sister-in-law, Mary Murrah of Goodlettsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Pallbearers were Tom Pruitt, Travis Cole, Garry Miller, Alex Smith, Walter Cole and Phil Ballard.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
