Agnes M. Hall

Aug. 9, 1929 — Aug. 29, 2008



Agnes Marie Hall, 79, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 29, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 31 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, with the Rev. Pete Ullman and the Rev. Mike Smathers officiating. Burial was in Big Lick Cemetery.



Mrs. Hall was born Aug. 9, 1929, in Cumberland County, the daughter of Crocket and Jessie Garrison Knox.



She retired from the medical field as a registered nurse and was also a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church in Big Lick. She was a kind and loving Christian lady who was always helping others. She also loved to garden and enjoyed going to yard sales. Her grandchildren and the special love they shared was most important in her life.



Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Sheila and Charlie Sutton of Crossville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Jim Brown, Jewell and Dallas Hill, all of Atlanta, GA, and Gladys and Monroe Thomas of Crossville; and grandchildren, Chad Lack, Cara and John Sutton and Chelsea and Rodney Hall.



In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Hall; son, Gregory Hall; brothers, Ridley and Raymond Knox; and sister, Mary Conaster.



Pallbearers were Norman Hinkle, Mike Miller, Ken McCorkle, Clay Wilson, Donnie Knox and Jeff Hall.



Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC (www.hoodfuneralhome.com) was in charge of the arrangements.
