Paul R. Miller

March 18, 1961 — Aug. 14, 2008



Paul Roy Miller, 47, of Crossville, passed away Aug. 14, 2008. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 17 from chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Kerley officiating. Interment was in Pomona Cemetery.



Mr. Miller was born March 18, 1961, in Cumberland County, the youngest to the late Allen Guy and Roberta (Turner) Miller.



He and his family spent the first 16 years of his life in Rockwood, with weekly visits to family in Crossville. The family then moved to Crossville in 1978. He was of the Baptist faith and a carpenter by trade.



The most special part of his life was his family and loved ones. Having no children of his own, his nephews and nieces as well as their children brought much joy and happiness to him. Not only was he their uncle, he was also their friend. He loved them very deeply.



Survivors include his sister and brother-in-law, Patricia "Trish" and Don Fisher of Crossville; nieces, Lauren Yvonne McCulley of Rockwood, Latoya O'Rourke of Andalusia, AL and Susan Trent of New Jersey; nephew, Daniel Allen Miller of Andalusia, AL; great-nephews, Nathanael Penny of New Jersey and Braden McCulley of Rockwood; great-nieces, Jessica Penny of New Jersey and Amber O'Rourke of Andalusia, AL, and Madeline McCulley of Rockwood.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, David Allen Miller; nieces, Samantha Lee Ann Miller and Amy Miller Penny; and a host of aunts, uncles, and many loved ones.



Pallbearers were Josh Brendel, Robert Brendel, Charles Brendel, Ronald Brendel, Josh Sherrill and Lauren McCulley.



Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
