Mrs. Luvell Smith, 74, of Crossville, passed away June 9, 2008, at Standing Stone Nursing Home in Monterey, TN. The family will receive friends June 12, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home in Wartburg, TN. Funeral service will follow at 8 p.m., with the Rev. Rick Taylor officiating.
Graveside service will be June 13 at 11 a.m. at High Point Cemetery.
Mrs. Smith is survived by her husband, James T. Smith; daughters, Glenda Gail Young of Wartburg and Linda (Larry) Landrum of Crossville; son, Kermit H. (Mary) Wright Jr. of Lancing; step-sons, Greg (Becky) Smith and Chris (Mindy) Smith, of Joliet, IL; grandchildren, Angie and Chad Payne, "Scooter" Thomas Young, Jennie and Chris Meer, Steve and Shannon Green, Jessica and Joey Campbell and Heather Wright; great-grandchildren, Noah, Zachary, Haley, Autumn, Ehlana, Ethan, Jackson, Morgan A. Luvell and Kaden; step-grandchildren, Gabriel, Matthew and Mandy; sisters and brothers, Faye, Milton, Ray, Marcus and Millard.
Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by first husband, the Rev. Kermit Wright, and brothers Willie James Beam and Larry Beam.
