Louise Kerr Ireland, 87, of Crossville, passed away May 10, 2008. Burial will be Friday, May 16, at 3 p.m. EDT in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in Cheltenham, MD.
Mrs. Ireland was born June 30, 1920, in Prince George's County, Maryland, the daughter of Wesley and Margaret Jones Kerr.
Before retiring, she was an administrative assistant for Prince George's County government in Maryland. She enjoyed reading and was of the Episcopal faith.
Survivors include her daughters, Pauline Dugan of Newburn, NC and Barbara Austin of Smethport, PA; sons, Steve Jones of North Carolina and Joseph Ireland Jr. of Crossville; 13 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Ireland; and sister, Shirley Whitfield.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
