Paul Franklin Wolfe, 68, of Pleasant Hill, passed away May 6, 2008. Funeral services were conducted May 9 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with Bro. Mike Kerley officiating. Burial was in New Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Wolfe was born Nov. 11, 1939, in Cumberland County, the son of Daniel Christopher Wolfe and Iva Lee McCormick Wolfe.
He was a welder and had served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam, receiving a Purple Heart. He was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing, riding and hunting.
Survivors include his wife, Billie Wolfe of Pleasant Hill; daughters, Janet Lynn Norris and Kathy Anderson of Pleasant Hill; grandchildren, Iva Norris, Jacob Norris, Justin Norris and Jim Bob Anderson, all of Pleasant Hill; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Kaylee Vallad, Alanna Dawn Wightman and Lauren Brooke Parrigin, all of Pleasant Hill; brothers, Walter Wolfe of Lake Tansi and Leonard Wolfe of Pleasant Hill; and sisters, Bernice McCloud and Iris Sherrill of Crossville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his niece, Sharon Meeks; sister-in-law, Sheila Lewis; and brothers-in-law, John McCloud and Ira Sherrill.
The Veterans Honor Guard served as pallbearers and provided full military honors.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
