William Anderson McCord Sr., 69, of Crossville, passed away April 30, 2008. Funeral services were conducted May 3 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with Bro. John Boggs and Bro. Chris Karper officiating. Interment was in Crossville City Cemetery.
Mr. McCord was born May 20, 1938, in Hopkinsville, KY, the son of William Leonard and Mary Ann (Hopson) McCord.
He was a civil engineer for H.W. Lochner and was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include his son, William Anderson McCord II of Crossville; daughter, Tammy McCord of Crossville; fiancée, Jean Molthen of Crossville; and six grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Marie (Rhea) McCord.
Pallbearers were William McCord II, Danny Moore, Tim Wilson, Mike Wilson, Matt Wilson and Gary Molthen.
Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
