CROSSVILLE — One’s trash is another’s treasure at the Tansi Treasures Sale held by the Lake Tansi Recreation Committee and set for Saturday, April 13 at the Thunderbird Recreation Center from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. For those wanting to get a jump on their spring cleaning and sell their unwanted items, each table is $20, with proceeds going to the Recreation Committee. Early bird shoppers will be charged $1 the first hour to get first rummaging rights. Thereafter, no admission fees will be charged. It will be the ultimate yard sale experience- without the yard.

The words thrifty, frugal and economical are used everyday and describe how the current financial climate has influenced making and spending money during this recession. With all the incredibly savvy ideas for re-purposing and reducing carbon footprints, this is the perfect opportunity to either offload or reload depending on the perspective. Out with the old and in with the renewed, spring is about rebirth. De-clutter, simplify and streamline your home and bring unused and unwanted items to sell at the Tansi Treasures Sale.

To take advantage of the opportunity to utilize the convenience of the recreation center and embrace the new season contact Ken or Michelle at the Thunderbird at 788-6282 for more information.
