Lake Tansi Bandits strike again

Submitted

CROSSVILLE — Lake Tansi Bandits recently donated to Hospice of Cumberland County in honor of Dianne Hansen. Many were came out to mark the special occasion including Lake Tansi Bandits President Russ Conn and Hospice of Cumberland County’s Executive Director Ken Taylor.

“When I came on board as director of Hospice of Cumberland County, the first thing that impressed me was the knowledge and compassion for service of the employees," said Taylor. "Dianne was definitely a major player with this impression. I honestly feel that if a director wrote down what an ideal hospice nurse would be, it would spell out DIANNE HANSEN and the letters would form a photo of her.

"She proved to not only be a high quality nurse, compassionate about her services to patients and families," he added, "but an educator, mentor and administrator as well. She has the ‘can do’ attitude and the ‘get er done’ personality.”

Lake Tansi Bandits are a group of gentlemen who play golf together and pitch in money every time they play. The money is then donated to an unsuspecting organization.

This “bandit strike” was to Hospice of Cumberland County in honor of Hansen, a special person and employee that served Hospice of Cumberland County for 15 years.
