CROSSVILLE — Pictured are the Tansi Tarts Red Hat Club, who had an exciting adventure exploring the caverns and taking a boat ride on the Lost Sea near Sweetwater. This is the largest underground lake in the world at four acres with a 80-foot tunnel, which connects to another body of water underground that is more then twice the size of the exposed lake. Foot-long trout live in the 55 degree water and feed eagerly when fed by the tour guide. Many thanks to Terri Curran and Patty Strayer who planned this exciting experience for the group. Thanks, too, for the goody bags with snacks and, most importantly, a flash light. After the cavern experience, they enjoyed lunch at the Red Bones restaurant in Kingston.
