The pan fish tournaments started out a bit rough with canceling the first tournament due to a snow storm. We rescheduled for the next week and that was not much better with the rain and cold. However, we sucked it up and fished anyway. Taking first place were Denver Hogston and Denny Wunder with a 4 lb. 3 oz. catch. Second place went to Carl Flanagan and Glen Strunk with a 2 lb. l2 oz. catch. Third place went to Marty and Susan McCoy with 2 lbs. 3 oz. Good job, Susan, way to hold up the "ole" boy.
Tournament #2 was held on April 2l. Taking first place were Denver Hogston and Denny Wunder with 4 lbs. 7 oz. Second place was won by Glen and Ruth McCoy with 2 lbs. 2 oz. I sure hope those McCoy boys learn to fish so their wives don't have to carry them all year. Good job ladies! Third place was Marty and Susan McCoy.
Tournament #3 was held on May 5 and believe it or not the sun was shining for a little bit. Taking first place were Rick Donavan and Jan with 6 lbs. 1l oz. Nice catch! Second place was won by Carl Flanagan and Glen Strunk with 4 lbs. 7 oz. Third place was taken by Denver Hogston and Denny Wunder with 3 lbs. l3 oz.
I would like to welcome new club members Stan and Jeff Smith, Ron Brown, Ron Pulley, Jim and Judi Hartman, and Glen and Ruth McCoy. Also, welcome back to Don Davis. We're all happy you are feeling better and are ready to fish. Well, that's all for now. We still have lots of room for more new members, so come and fish with us. As always fish hard, be safe, and obey the laws of the water.

On April 30, Denny Wunder and fishing partner Denver Hogston decided to try some Dale Hollow fishing. They caught and released 18 bass including the nice 6-pound small mouth caught by Denny. The two love fishing Lake Tansi but this was a great little trip.
