Highlights from the Thunderbird

— The trees are blooming and sprouting leaves and the flowers are up! It's great to finally see signs of spring!
At the Thunderbird for the month of April, the schedule is:
Mondays — bridge and mah jongg, noon
Tuesdays — cards and games, noon to 4 p.m.
Wednesdays — bingo, 2 p.m.; games, 3 p.m.
Thursdays — ladies meet for craft time, 9 a.m. to noon
Guys play pool — noon to whenever
Fridays and Saturdays — bingo, 6 p.m.; games, 7 p.m.

April 19 — Free Health Care Presentation at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. For reservations, call 788-1112 or 788-1244.
April 26 — $5 for a meatloaf dinner at 4:30 p.m. Bingo follows at 6 p.m., and games at 7 p.m. Yum! Yum!
We had some great fun at the ThunderBird in March!
On March 22, we had the Easter party for the kids. There were about 75 children in attendance. It was great fun! We had photos with the Easter Bunny, games, prizes, refreshments as well as a real Easter Bunny!
On March 29, the $5 Easter Bunny dinner was a great success as well! We had chicken and homemade dumplings, vegetable medley, Jell-O salad and carrot cake!
