Lots of activity around the Tansi Security Building as workers arrived to begin construction on the new addition on the building. Henry Hunnicutt and Jackie Davis were on hand to watch the first pouring of cement in early April. The project is designed to provide space for the EMT first-response team and allow the Security officers to expand into needed space. The project is being supported by many volunteers. Among those are Acme Block and Brick, who donated the foundation materials. The construction crew is composed of South Cumberland Utility District employees, who are donating their time.
