With the recent rains and the early aeration completed, the Tansi Golf Course is looking good. We are beginning to welcome our vacation guests from around the country, and are welcoming back our members and league players, as well. The new membership cards are selling well and budget is on track for a successful year. Even though we show a large March deficit, unlike in previous years, our income will rise steadily throughout the summer with the new revenue design. We have traded in our five-year-old golf carts and added new blue club cars, reducing the maintenance costs for course transportation.
Come join us Wednesday mornings for our golf clinics at 10 a.m. We also have our swing trainer available for you to get your golf swing back in shape. The swing trainer was donated by the Fund Tournament.
We will have men's leagues playing on Monday and Wednesday mornings. The ladies will be playing on Wednesday and Thursday mornings.
Check with the pro shop for a tee time or go online to check out our new Internet tee-time service. You can go online to www.teeitup.com and book your tee time this year. Let us know how you like this new service.
You may notice some construction going on near Dunbar as we connect the water system soon. We plan to connect the front and back nine water systems for more efficiency should we experience another drought.
