Despite the heat, children of all ages came out to the Art Circle Public Library on Tuesday to celebrate the end of Summer Reading Program 2009. The celebration was held in the parking lot of the library, where the young readers enjoyed food, fun and games. Several of the children, like the little girl pictured, had fun tossing bean bags, while others, such as the boys in the other photo, took turns playing putt-putt. In addition to the outdoor activities, children showed off their artistic sides with some arts and crafts in the Community Room.
