Congressman Diane Black, Tennessee’s 6th District representative in the U. S. House of Representatives, will hold a town hall meeting at the Fairfield Glade Conference Center on Tuesday, Aug. 27 at 4:15 p.m.
During the meeting, Congressman Black will present a legislative update on her work in Congress and take questions from constituents. Congressman Black released the following statement regarding her upcoming town hall meeting:
“Tennessee families deserve representatives who stay accountable to them, reflect their values and listen to their concerns,” said Congressman Diane Black. “That is why I believe it is important to regularly hold these town hall meetings so that I can speak directly with my constituents and answer their questions. I have held several town hall meetings across the district so far this year, and I look forward to visiting old friends and seeing new faces at this event in Fairfield Glade.”
Black’s Aug. 27 town hall meeting marks the latest in a series of public events she has held in Cumberland County this year, including a Jan. 26 open house and an April 8 town hall meeting at the Palace Theater.
Black is also slated to speak at the monthly World War II Veterans luncheon on Friday, Aug. 23 and at the monthly Republican Party meeting at the Palace Theater Tuesday evening, Aug. 27.
The Fairfield Glade Conference Center is located at 128 Stonehenge Drive.
