CROSSVILLE — Cast in the lead role for the program of the Fairfield Glade Resident Homeowners Association on April 28 will be Shani Hedden Palmer from Hixson, TN presenting A Tribute to Patsy Cline at The Legends, starting at 6 p.m.  Shani played the role of Patsy Cline in Ted Swindley’s blockbuster musical “Always … Patsy Cline” at the Chattanooga Theatre Centre to rave revues, a revival, a tour, and sold out crowds. In addition, she has worked with such music industry notables as Keith Harling (MCA Nashville), Kim Forester (The Forester Sisters), Dennis Britt (co-writer for The Mavericks, EMI Nashville), Byron Sutton (Dolly Parton, Ricky Scraggs) and many more.

In addition, Shani was among the top 10 vocalists out of 3,000 plus vocalists at the 2004 International Modeling and Talent showcase in Los Angeles, CA. She has a successful alternative country and blues band called “Shani Palmer & The Lowdown” with her husband, electric bassist Kenny Palmer, who has been playing successfully all over the Southeast for more than 12 years.  Shani performs solo shows in tribute to Patsy Cline as well, to continue the legacy of Patsy Cline’s legendary music.

This is a program that you will not want to miss and we encourage you to invite your neighbors to attend with you. If you are not an RHA member, you can still attend by paying an entertainment fee of $6, plus $17 for the meal, which includes tax and tip. Yearly dues are $12 but if you attend any of the other three upcoming programs for $6 you will automatically become a member of RHA. Dues are our only source of money to contract for the entertainment and we think that you will find it to be a good bargain. This is our fourth program of the year, and we will take up again in September, featuring Weslie Webster from the Playhouse. She will be followed in October by the Mt. LeConte Jug Band that will feature a band of five lively gentlemen who will keep you on the edge of your seat. The November show has not been contracted yet, but you can rest assure that it will be great as we close out the year of 2014.

RHA is strictly a social group which provides an opportunity for you to meet your neighbors and keep up with the activities of the Community Club and, at the same time, enjoy some very special shows. Menu entrée’ for this meeting will feature roasted pork loin w/carmalized red onion demi sauce.
