CROSSVILLE — This year's Veterans Day celebrations will include two separate events in Crossville honoring veterans of all wars. A ceremony will take place at the County Court House at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11 and another gathering will be at the Community Complex on Livingston Road from 3:30 - 8 p.m.

Guest speakers and musical entertainment will be available at both events, and all readers are invited to join in these celebrations to honor the men and women who bravely served their country, with special recognition for those who fought in the various wars that have challenged this nation.

The event at the Community Complex will include free food and drinks for those attending. The hosts are the County's Veterans Service Office and the various veteran organizations in Cumberland County. The menu will include barbecue sandwiches, potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, desserts and drinks.

All military veterans, especially those who fought in wars, deserve special thanks from everyone. Organizers hope a large attendance at both events will make Veterans Day a celebration all veterans will appreciate and remember. Everyone is invited.
