Schwind releases children's book

CROSSVILLE — Author Beverly LaHote Schwind announces the release of her third children’s book, Patches and Her Backpack Adventures.

A book signing will be held at Traditions Bakery and Café,118 Brown Ave. Saturday Dec. 14 from10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Special treats and prizes will be offered.

This book addresses many life-issues: respect for others, sharing ideas and possessions. A touching story of a friendship between two people generations apart, as they share their stories and lives.

This is an illustrated chapter book for six to 10-year-old readers. Discussion questions are included in the book. The hardback book sells for $12.

Beverly LaHote Schwind has written Blackberry Jetboy and The Hugging Tree. Her Biblical fiction books Shira’s Song and Shira’s Dance are on Amazon kindle.
