Sign up now for Men's 9-Hole League 2014 season

CROSSVILLE — The Fairfield Glade Men's 9-Hole League is now accepting applications for the 2014 Season. We need both regular members and people who would like only to substitute. Applications for all members will be accepted now, but those requesting regular status will have to await final approval at the start of the 2014 season.

Play is each Monday morning May through September using a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m.

The line up configuration is two-man partners who play together the entire season. If a partner can not play and signs out for a round, the league will assign a compatible sub.

We play all five of the FFG courses and use several different formats of play to make the rounds interesting.  Prizes are given for best team(s) and individual play results. Also special awards are made for holes-in-one, closest-to-the-pin and eagles.

The League conducts a "kick off" meeting the last Monday in April to distribute team schedules and a easy reference 9-Hole hand-book with: rules of play, game formats, prizes and our handicap scoring point system.

At the end of the season, usually the first Monday in October, the League has a member banquet to recognize outstanding member play results and to sign up members for next year. If you are interested in a fun league for those not wanting to play 18 holes call Ej Bueche - Secretary/Treasurer at 707-0337 or mail in the application form.
