Lions 30-year cheese sale tradition continues in FFG

The Fairfield Glade Lions Club is again offering seven types of Shullsburg, WI cheese for their Annual Cheese Sale. Lions Club members will be on duty in the Village Green Mall Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. You may also arrange to order cheese from any Lions Club member or by calling Dave or Jeanne Dougherty at 707-2676.

Sharp Cheddar, Mild Cheddar, Mild Swiss, Colby Chunk, and Colby Jack are all one-pound packages that sell for $7 each. In addition, a 10 oz. package of Pepper Jack and a 12 oz. package of Muenster sell for $6 each. The blocks of cheese store very well in your freezer so you can continue to enjoy the cheese during the months ahead.

The Annual Cheese Sale is one of the Lions major fundraisers. Cheese will be on sale in the Village Green Mall into mid-November or until the cheese supply runs out. You are encouraged to buy early for the best selection of your favorite flavor. The profits from the cheese sale will be used to support the Lions Club Vision and Hearing Programs that are carried out here in Cumberland County Schools.
