The culinary arts of war

Submitted

CROSSVILLE — The Fairfield Glade Community & Conference Center's inaugural Cupcake War was a huge success, selling out in under an hour and raising more than $600 for Relay for Life. Legends Sous Chef Robin Elder took first place with her Fiery Scarlett O'Hara cupcakes, followed by Mike Enos in second place with his German Chocolate Surprise cupcakes, and third place went to Emma Lee Cole with her Spaghetti & Meatball cupcakes. Pictured from left are the judges, Brenda Anderson from CMC, Clinton Gill from the Glade Sun, Charlie Strayer from Dave Kirk Automotive, and Debi Davis from CMC.

The judges had 10 delicious cupcakes to choose from. It was not an easy task.
