Sutton Store Players presents ‘Love in Mayberry Dinner Play’ for Valentine’s

CROSSVILLE — The Sutton Store Players of Granville will present their new play entitled “Love in Mayberry” for the 2014 Valentine Season. The play will be presented on Feb. 6,7,13 and 14 at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. as well as Feb. 12 at 11 a.m.  and 1 p.m. The new play will also feature all of the other Mayberry characters in a great love story that will help you celebrate the Valentine season. The play is performed in the historic 1880 Sutton General Store with the first act in the main part of the store and the dinner followed by the second act in the Sutton Store dining room. A great valentine dinner will be served with a play that presents some of the best humor possible. Reservations are required by calling 653-4151. Granville is currently celebrating Winterfest in January with Bluegrass Dinner Shows each Saturday night, Bingo and Hush Puppy Lunch at noon on Jan. 15, Rook and Chile lunch on Jan. 22 at noon and a Progressive Valentine Lunch at noon on Feb. 5.

Other Upcoming events are the second annual Genealogy Festival, the sixth anniversary celebration of Sutton General Store on April 5 and Granville Derby Garden Party and Vintage Fashion Show on April 26.
