Enjoy Brandt's work at the Shanks Center

CROSSVILLE — In a set of refined photographs, Jeff Brandt has captured powerful colors and shapes of majestic stone in mountains and canyons of the Southwestern United States. Traveling in the states of Oregon, California, Arizona, Idaho, and Utah, Jeff and his wife Tracey, visited national parks including Arches National Park, the Grand Canyon, Craters of the Moon and Redwood National Park. Brandt’s discerning eyes used his camera to present elegant structures and formations that are unequaled in any other part of the world. His familiarity with his equipment, combined with his positive communication skills, have produced a set of refined photographs that delight guests at the exhibit. Brandt’s photographs are on display in the Warehouse Gallery at the Shanks Center for the Arts until Saturday, Oct. 27.

The Shanks Center is located at 140 North Main Street, across from the Depot, Crossville, Tennessee. The regular business hours during October are Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. The public is invited to the next First Thursday evening reception, Thursday Oct. 4, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. and will have a chance to mingle with photographer Jeff Brandt and other artists and authors.
