FFG Bass Club holds final regular tournament of 2013    

CROSSVILLE — Lake Dartmoor was the site of FFG Bass Club's final regular Bass Tournament for 2013. A total of 22 fishermen participated with a grand total of 79 bass being caught and released. With water temperatures in the mid 70's the bass were still active and provided most with good baskets. Baits primarily used were plastic worms, lizards and creature baits. The results are as follows:

First Place – Ron Riccetti and Bob Keefer (guest) with five bass weighing 11.86 pounds.

Second Place – Doug Reed and Colby Ardis with five bass weighing 7.09 pounds.

Third Place - Martin Young and Jim Nash (guest) having five bass weighing 6.69 pounds.

Fourth Place – John Upp and Paul Demet with five bass weighing 6.42 pounds.

Fifth Place – Ed Wolters and Joe Boggio with four bass weighing 5.62 pounds.

Big Bass Honors went to John Upp with his 19 inch 3.47 pound Bass. 

The club's final event of the year will be the fish-off being held on Lakes St. George and Dartmoor, with each fisherman fishing four hours on each lake. The results will be posted after the conclusion. 

By finishing in First Place, Ron Riccetti will be named as the Bass Club's Angler of the Year.
