Staying active in the winter

Staffwriter

CROSSVILLE — Frigid temperatures have kept most people indoors and inactive this winter, but some residents of Fairfield Glade have found ways to exercise in spite of the cold weather. Pickleball is one of the latest crazes to hit the Glade and it’s a great way to break a sweat. Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. And best of all, it’s played inside. It’s offered at both the Community & Conference Center and the Tennis Center.
